Professional Learning
Teachers deserve to experience hands-on and interactive learning as they broaden their repertoire to provide such experiences for their own students.
Through embodied hands-on approaches, I offer ways of integrating differentiated instruction within the monolingual, bilingual, single or multi grade classroom. My focus on centering neurodivergent students and historically marginalized populations through my antibias antiracist approaches allows for teaching and learning that is more nutritive for all.
Other facilitations I offer:
- Community building to co-create classrooms where students feel seen, like they matter, and can exert positive influence and leadership
- Curriculum study facilitation (if needed) for integrating multidisciplinary standards accross multi grade classrooms.
- Small group and 1-1 coaching sessions for teachers after PD sessions.
- AI integration that preserves and promotes human connection and autonomy.
Coaching
Teachers are life-long learners and deserve to walk alongside the high-impact work of coaches to support the emotional and cognitive demands of being a teacher in this day and age.
Neurodivergent students and families often do not needs more strategies for navigating life, they need a coach to walk school life with them. As a coach, I am able to support students and families on the bite-size, high-impact moves that will help lessen the demands on executive functioning and sensory-processing demands of school life.
Parenting Thought Partner
We were never meant to do this growing and learning alone as parents. Especially parents of children playing by a playbook divergent from that which traditional schools was intended. Walking this path with a culturally responsive and sustaining teacher who has extensive experience working with brilliantly in-tune neurodivergent students makes the journey of parenting our children and reparenting ourselves more sustainable.
